Our Doctors

Dr. Derek Marshall is currently the owner and Manager of Dental Care Clinic and has spearheaded this practice for over thirty years. Dr. Marshall is a graduate of Howard University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (hons.), Cum laude, in chemistry. He then went on to furthering his studies at Temple University in Philadelphia where he attained a Doctorate in Medical Dentistry (D.M.D) degree in 1991.

Oral Maxilla Facial Surgeon–Dr. Benta, is the most recent addition of associates to the Dental Care Team. With Dr. Griffith, our oral surgical team is well equipped to handle a wide array of oral surgical treatments that otherwise may have had to be referred beyond our shores due to the absence of the required expertise.

Dr. Haywood Hambrick has been associated with Dental Care Clinic for over twenty-five years and is very much a staple to the specialist services that have been offered for decades at Dental Care Clinic. He brings the much-needed specialty of orthodontics to our patients and for years he has been recognized as the only known orthodontist presently practicing in Antigua and Barbuda. Hence, his expertise is not only needed by the associates of Dental Care Clinic, but also by Dentists Island wide.

Dental Care Clinic is the only private facility with a complement of oral surgeons within an Oral surgical department providing a full range of Oral surgical procedures ranging from impacted wisdom teeth and implant placement to trauma treatment and surgical treatment of oral facial cancers.
